Master colourist’s career draws to a natural end
THE nation’s most successful living Aboriginal artist is unlikely to paint much beyond this year.
Yannima Tommy Watson, thought to be more than 75, was in Sydney yesterday on what will probably be his last visit.
Watson ”feels his age” and is painting smaller works than he used to, according to John Ioannou, the art dealer who works most closely with him.
